1. Fully Electric Powertrains

The IONIQ 6 has two fully electric powertrains so you can choose the option with the best performance for your driving needs. The entry-level EV powertrain is a single motor with a rear-wheel driveline that produces 149 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The SE Standard Range, which has only this engine option, has an estimated all-electric range of 240 miles. 

The dual-motor AWD system on models like the SEL can generate 320 horsepower and 446 lb-ft of torque. The estimated range on the SEL AWD is 270 miles, while the SEL with RWD can travel 291 miles. The SE with RWD has the longest driving range of about 342 miles, which drops to 316 miles when the SE is equipped with the dual-motor AWD system. 

2. Power Charge Port Door

Charging the IONIQ 6 is simple with the standard power charge port door. This simple power hatch makes it much easier to plug in when you’re in a hurry. As for charging, this EV model is compatible with Level 2 charging for at-home use, which can take about five hours and 20 minutes on the SE Standard Range or just shy of seven hours on the upper models. 

Rapid and ultra-fast charging at public charging stations is also standard for this EV. The ultra-fast charger can host a charging connection up to 800 volts. Rapid charging takes about 18 minutes for all models, so you can quickly get your battery back to 80%. If you have a little more time, you can use a 50 kW charger to reach 80% battery charge in about an hour on the SE Standard Range. 

3. Versatile Infotainment System 

The 12.3-inch central touchscreen is the cornerstone of your infotainment technology on the IONIQ 6. This HD touchscreen has an integrated navigation system so you can input addresses and tailor your route without using a third-party navigation app. Standard entertainment options include HD Radio and a three-month trial for SiriusXM. 

Additionally, this model has a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster with EV Technology Display so you can track your EV performance. This display can provide insights into current vehicle stats, battery charge information, and more.
