The 2025 Kia Carnival is an impressive family-oriented vehicle with large seating and cargo capacity, a powerful motor, and tons of innovative features. Check out the highlights of this unique MPV, including available upgrades, to see why this well-rounded model is ideal for your growing family.

1. Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control

The Carnival comes with a standard Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control System that uses navigation data to identify when to speed up or slow down while also managing basic cruise control efficiency in stop-and-go traffic. On models like the SX, this system is enhanced with Machine Learning to adjust to your unique driving habits.

2. Passenger View and Passenger Talk

Along with a standard voice recognition system that responds to casual prompts to input addresses and change in-cabin settings, Carnival models above the LXS trim also come with Passenger View and Passenger Talk.

Passenger Talk is an in-cabin intercom system that piggybacks off the sound system so that front-row passengers can talk to rear-seat riders without yelling or taking their attention off the road. Passenger View is a terrific feature for families with little ones. When this system is activated, front-row passengers can view passengers in the second and third rows on the central display.

3. Cargo Volume

While the LX has standard seven-passenger seating, other Carnival models can seat eight passengers and comfortably accommodate plenty of cargo. The dedicated cargo volume for this model is 40.2 cubic feet when all seats are upright and in place. By reconfiguring the rear seating area, this model can hold a maximum of 145.1 cubic feet of cargo with ease. Drivers can take advantage of additional cargo carrying capability with a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs.

4. Eco Drive Mode

Activating the Eco Drive Mode refines the performance of your powertrain to consume less fuel, particularly in heavy traffic. The estimated gas mileage for this family model is 18 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the interstate.

The efficiency of this model can be attributed to the 3.5-liter V6 powertrain, which generates 287 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The eight-speed automatic transmission refines fuel efficiency by controlling gear ratios for smooth and steady acceleration as well.

5. Large Central Touchscreen

The Carnival has a standard 12.3-inch central touchscreen that houses all of the vehicle’s diagnostic tools, cabin settings, and connected entertainment features. A major appeal of the central display is an integrated navigation system that syncs with the cruise control system and also offers detailed route planning. Upper models can be enhanced with an optional dual-screen rear entertainment system.

The infotainment system can connect with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth for multiple devices, as well as SiriusXM for curated radio streaming. While a six-speaker audio system is standard on the LX and LXS, an eight-speaker system is standard for the EX and SX, while the uppermost models have a 12-speaker Bose audio system for a phenomenal surround sound audio experience.

The Carnival has all the power of a full-size SUV and all the conveniences of a family minivan. Book a test drive at Ken Ganley Kia in Mentor, Medina, Alliance, and Boardman, OH, as well as New Port Richey, FL, and Bridgeport, WV.
