Discover the 2024 Honda CR-V

2024 honda cr-v in brecksville ohio

The much-refined 2024 Honda CR-V caters to a wide range of driving needs and places highly in reliability surveys. It sports a stylish exterior, a luxurious and spacious interior, and a raft of sophisticated tech.

First manufactured in 1995, the Honda CR-V is now in its sixth generation. It's built on the same Honda Architecture (HA) platform as the 2nd-generation Honda HR-V and 11th-generation Honda Civic, sharing some of the characteristics of those cars. The CR-V is easy to drive, handles well, and is renowned for its smooth ride quality, comfort, and dependability.

The 2024 CR-V comes in six trim levels, half of them hybrids. They are as follows: LX, EX, Sport Hybrid, EX-L, Sport-L Hybrid, Sport Touring Hybrid. Non-hybrid models have a direct-injection 1.5 L four-cylinder 190 hp turbocharged engine with CVT gearing. Hybrids get a superb 204 hp powertrain comprising a 2.0 L Atkinson-cycle engine, two electric motors, and an electronic continuously variable transmission (eCVT).

New for 2024

After a total redesign in 2023, the CR-V didn't change for 2024. In 2023, the car became larger with a modernized exterior, a roomier and plusher interior, and a more responsive performance in both gasoline and hybrid trims. The new hybrid powertrain reduced toxic emissions and delivered higher sustained top speeds. It also gave hybrid trims the same generous 76.5 cu ft of cargo space as gas-only models (rear seats down)

All-Wheel Drive Capability

With available all-wheel drive, the CR-V can handle assorted driving surfaces and conditions, including light off-road trails, snow, and rain. This makes it suitable for a diverse range of journeys and climates. The CR-V Sport Touring Hybrid is AWD by default.

To optimize the CR-V for various conditions and alter driving characteristics, you can choose from selectable drive modes. There are three in gasoline trims (Normal, ECON, and Snow), while hybrid trims add a Sport mode to the standard trio.

CR-V Fuel Economy (Gas-Only vs Hybrids)

CR-V gasoline-only FWD trims achieve fuel economy ratings of 28/34/30 mpg (city/highway/combined), while hybrid FWD trims reach 43/36/40 mpg. The AWD equivalents are rated at 27/32/29 mpg and 40/34/37 mpg, respectively.

Honda Sensing Safety Technologies

The Honda CR-V features many Honda Sensing driver-assistive technologies as standard. These include Collision Mitigation Braking, Road Departure Mitigation, Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Information (absent in the LX), Traffic Sign Recognition, and more.

CR-V Connectivity

CR-Vs come with a 7" or 9" touchscreen, which you can hook up to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto smartphone apps (wirelessly in half the trims). Naturally, there's also Bluetooth and USB connectivity. The Sport Touring Hybrid has built-in GPS navigation.

Chevrolet Tahoe vs. Suburban: Which SUV Fits You?

Chevrolet Tahoe vs. Suburban: Which Full-Size SUV Fits Your Family? Shopping for a new vehicle often presents a common debate for growing families. You must decide if the Chevrolet Tahoe or Suburban better suits your daily routine. Both models share a strong foundation but serve entirely different needs. Understanding these key differences helps you make the right choice before visiting Ganley Automotive Group in Brecksville, OH. We encourage you to reach out to our client care team for more information so we can help you find your perfect match. Size and Space Differences The most obvious distinction between these two SUVs is size. The Tahoe is more compact, making it easier to navigate parking lots and tight roads. The Suburban stretches longer, offering significantly more cargo space behind the third row. If hauling gear for a large family or taking extended road trips is a priority, the Suburban provides a clear advantage. Passenger Comfort and Technology Both the Tahoe and Suburban can carry up to nine passengers depending on the interior configuration. The added length of the Suburban translates into noticeably more legroom for third-row riders. Adult passengers in the back seat of the Suburban feel far less cramped on long trips. Both models also feature standard modern technology like Apple CarPlay© and Android Auto© to keep everyone connected and entertained on the road. Towing and Performance These full-size SUVs act as serious workhorses when properly equipped. The Tahoe and Suburban share similar powertrain options, including a 5.3L V8 or a 6.2L V8 engine, and deliver comparable towing capabilities. Either model remains a solid choice for families needing to pull a heavy boat or camper. Neither model forces you to sacrifice performance for passenger capacity. Everyday Usability The Tahoe appeals to drivers wanting a large SUV without the extended footprint of the Suburban. It fits more naturally in standard garages and feels manageable in urban settings. Families who primarily use their vehicle for school runs and grocery trips might find the Tahoe provides all the utility they require. Visit Ganley Automotive Group Today Deciding between the Tahoe and Suburban ultimately comes down to your space requirements and daily driving habits. The Tahoe serves as a practical all-arounder for most families. The Suburban acts as the go-to option for those needing maximum cargo room and third-row comfort. The team at Ganley Automotive Group in Brecksville, OH is ready to help you explore these options in person. Browse our digital showroom and get behind the wheel of both models to see which one feels like home.
